Competitiveness and Enterprise Development Project (CEDP) is a 5-year project that is supporting reforms geared towards improving the competitiveness of Uganda by improving the business environment, lowering the cost of doing business and improving competitiveness of selected high-impact sectors.

Land Administration Reform

The transformational nature of land administration reform is important for private sector development in Uganda.

Business registration continues to be burdensome, inefficient, slow and a significant barrier to entering the Uganda market.

Tourism Competitiveness Development 

Tourism is Uganda’s fastest growing industry with an average annual growth rate of 21%.

Matching Grant Facilities

The MGF is a competitive grant aimed at improving the capacity, enhancing productivity and competitiveness of private sector in Uganda.
